Thanks to all, this first edition of the #bestreetweeknd was insane. More than 3000 persons came to share an exceptional moment with us at La Cité de la Mode et du Design. This experience was probably the best of our lifes and we hope it has been the same for you. Art, music and fashion, we succeeded to mix these three themes, to transpose it in a event without precedents and to share it with you, our community, and all who were enough curious to discover new stuffs. We had an ambition and we hope you liked to be part of it. Before thinking of the next year and show you the video recap, here is the photos recap. Be Street: Are you glad to come in France for the #bestreetweeknd?
Yes, I love coming to France any time.  It is one of my favorite places in the world to be.  I love the people, the architecture, the history, the food, the shopping, the whole vibe.

B.S: How can you describe your live performance? What is your feeling during a concert?
I give myself to crowd.  During my live performance I really zone out.  I hear the music and feel the vibes from the crowd, but I also get into my own world because the music really transports me.

B.S: We love your music in our country. What do you thing about the french audience? We’ve the reputation to be shy.
I love the French audience.  All of my shows here have never been shy, everyone gets into the music and is not afraid to show it.

B.S: What do you plan for the show of the #bestreetweeknd?
I plan to perform some old and new tunes and just give the fans a great time and experience.

Be Street : Who is Nikibi?
Nikibi is an illustrator and also a graphic designer. And i Like the good things in life.

B.S: What did you do to find your style?
I don’t think I reached a “level”. I explore, I observe and I try to explore different universes even if I often come back to stuffs I like.

B.S: What is your favorite work? The one you show to people who ask about you art.
Depends my mood and the person who asked. I like simple and trenchant stuffs. I don’t remain on details as I do before but my mood evolves everyday. It depends of my mood in the morming (and if I smoked something!). Grumpy, in love, stressed or epic, I think it is one of the main influence when I draw.

B.S: What did you prepared for the #bestreetweeknd?
For the Weeknd, I prepared a series which represents my works this year with psyche and metal illustrations but also things close to the Rock ‘n’ roll and gig poster culture… It’s going to be fun!

Swatch and Kidrobot signed a special collection “Kidrobot for Swatch”. The label worked to create original watches with their unique characters and colors. Be Street : Can you introduce yourself?
Hello Be Street! My name is Mike Rock and i’m from Avignon city. I have two musical universes and i try to mix them. I participe to the biggest European metal and punk festival (the Hellfest and the Groezrock in Belgium) but also to big electro and dubstep parties (the All Naked in Paris). For both, my objective is to destroy the dancefloor with my heavy beats! I’m supported by Monster Energy, Skullcandy, Electric, Globe and Landscape Rock Shop.

B.S: Are you glad to play for the first edition of the #bestreetweeknd?
I’m really excited to share the stage of the #bestreetweeknd with all these great artists. You’ve a great line-up here! I will pass in the Sunday afternoon (15h30 – 16h30) but it doesn’t change anything. I prepared an exclusive and sick electro set with retro movies songs. I hope to make you dance!

B.S: What is your playlist? Give us 3 or 4 songs.
1) “Gor flesh – sludge city (jet set trash rec)” Heavy song from Canada which mix sludge and electro!
2) “Proxy – raw (DIM MAK)” The young russian genius did a great job with his heavy bass song!
3) “Vitalic – la mort sur le dancefloor (Different Recordings)” Vitalic + Rebeka warrior (sexy sushy) = a violent and schizophrenic song!
4) “Suicidal Tendencies- Possesed to skate” The #bestreetweeknd is going to look like Venice Beach. This song is just perfect to skate!

B.S: Do you have a last thing to say before your set?
Thanks to the Be Street crew to organize this event with so many good artists… it is a premiere and everybody need to be there!
